I wanted to have a global reach and understanding of the ongoing international orthopaedic surgery space. I have seen some change since 1988 but recognize that there is still much to be done to diversify our field.

Having a seat at the table, BUT also having contributions and suggestions translate into action, money, and opportunities. Having the ear and influence of decision-makers when you asked about what needs to change.
