Hello. I am a 15 year medical device industry representative for Stryker Orthopedics. I’m proud to have worked closely with Dr Kristy Weber for the last 8 years or so. I look forward to seeing what is in store for IODA.

I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the United States of America Army, fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle surgery. I have the privilege of caring for our nation's military service members, retirees, and their dependents at the Department of Defense's only Level I trauma center with a Team that genuinely supports and fosters inclusion and diversity within this great field of Orthopaedics.

I am a physical therapist, and most of my practice experience is in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Most recently I have had the pleasure of building and growing several PT companies. I am very active as a mom of 3 college aged kids. In my free time I enjoy playing pickle ball, golfing, sailing, traveling, and serving my community.

I am French-American orthopaedic surgery resident who completed medical school in Ireland. I am passionate about orthopaedics in general and involved in research.

Wayne A. Johnson, M.D., FAAOS, FACS is a highly respected member of the Lawton- Fort Sill, Oklahoma Community, where he has practiced orthopaedic surgery for the past 19 years. He is an arthroscopist with extensive experience with knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery for the past 22 years. Dr. Johnson completed his BS degree and graduate school in Chemistry from Howard University and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado, where he served as the chief resident of his residency program and the Denver Children's Hospital. He also has completed a mini- postgraduate fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery (2002) at the University of Miami's, Ryder Trauma Center and has a subspecialty interest in sports medicine.
Dr. Wayne A. Johnson, MD is a former US Army Lieutenant Colonel and has completed 21 years of combined service in the United States of America Army (1980-1991: U.S. Army Reserves, 1991-2003: U.S. Army Active Duty). He currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor of the University of Oklahoma Family Medicine Residency program and the Oklahoma State Family Medicine Residency. He has served as the President of the Oklahoma state Orthopaedic society for six years, Former President and Vice-President of the Mid-central states regional Orthopaedic society, and the Cameron University Foundation board of directors for 8 years where he has served as the President. He has served as an Oral Board examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, written board examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
 
Dr. Johnson has a passion for volunteering and giving back to his profession. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Councilors, where he is the current BOC Chair. He is also a member of the AAOS Board of Directors, AAOS Advocacy Council, AAOS CAP committee, and the AAOS OrthoPac executive committee.
Research and Quality. He is also a former AAOS member of the Research and Quality Council, Education Council, Communications Cabinet, Coding and Reimbursement Committee, the Diversity Advisory Board, ABOS oral board examiner, and question writer for the ABOS WLA, and has served as an editor for AAOS Now, and several AAOS task forces. Dr. Johnson has served in many leadership roles in his local medical community to include the Southwestern Medical Center Chief of Surgery, Chairman of the Board of the Ambulatory Surgical Center Board, Chief of Orthopaedics, and the Hospital Physicians Leadership Group. He has been a board member for the Great Plains Technology Center Biomedical Sciences Committee and as a Medical School Admissions Committee member for the University of Oklahoma Medical School.
 

Dr. Anthony “AJ” Johnson was born in Korea and raised in Texas. He graduated from the United States of America Military Academy in 1994 and the UCLA School of Medicine in 1998 as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He served as the Engineer Brigade Surgeon, 2nd Infantry Division prior to graduating with honors from the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2004. He became an American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery Diplomate in 2006 and obtained his Subspecialty Certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine in 2008.
Dr. Johnson is currently the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program Director & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinical Director at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. His prior position was the Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at San Antonio Military Medical Center as well as the Custodian of the DoD Joint Trauma System’s Military Orthopaedic Trauma Registry (MOTR). He has deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom (2006), Iraqi Freedom (2007), and New Dawn (2010) as a member of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and served as the Orthopaedic SME for the Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical Teams – Africa (excl. North Africa) and the Advanced Virtual Support to Special Operations program.
A Past-President of the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOMOS) and the US Armed Forces Sports Medical Advisory Board, he has served as the Team Physician and Director of Medical Operations for 15 international competitions to include the Para-Pan American, Paralympic, and Military World Games. His current committee leadership appointments include SOMOS Liaison to the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma Disaster & EMT Committee as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Diversity Advisory Board, AAOS Council on Research & Quality, AAOSNow Editorial Board and Diversity Content Advisory Panel, American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Critical Issues & Education Committee, Major Extremity Trauma and Rehabilitation Consortium (METRC) Steering Committee, the and the Association of American Medical Colleges Group on Diversity and Inclusion. He is also a member of the Dell Medical School Admissions Committee, the Dell Medical School Alpha Omega Alpha Nominating Committee, and founder of the Department of Surgery & Perioperative Care Diversity Pipeline Program for Women in STEM & Orthopaedics.

His scholarly activities include 68 peer-reviewed publications, 4 Clinical Practice Guidelines, 17 Moderator/Panelist roles, 75 podium presentations and over $22.3M in extra-mural grant funding for his work on Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis and Health Outcomes Disparities in casualties with an emphasis on the reintegration of elite disabled tactical athletes, especially female amputees. A Fellow of the American Orthopaedic Association, American College of Surgeons & the Order of Military Medical Merit, he is also the recipient of the “A” Proficiency Designator by the Army Surgeon General, the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the AAOS Senior Achievement Award, and the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium’s Golden Headed Cane Award for demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and clinical research. His military awards include the Combat Medical Badge, the Legion of Merit, 2 Bronze Star Medals, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and 4 Meritorious Service Medals.
