Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Lebanon, I am a former soccer player for the Lebanese Women's National Team and a current final year medical student at the American University of Beirut (AUB) pursuing the scholarly concentration track. I have partaken in research projects in pediatrics, biomechanics & orthopaedics, and was the only Middle-Eastern collaborating author in my latest publication about gender equity in medicine. I am a quadrilingual student doctor who graduated from AUB with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology, with distinction, whilst being an active student-athlete advocating for change and empowering people wherever I went.
